Programming: The display shows the actual temperature of the water and the set point.
Check the set point: The set point (SET) is shown permanently on the display next to the actual temperature.
If you hold down the ▲ key for a certain time, the display switches from °C to Fahrenheit. Press and hold the ▼
key for a while to switch from F to °C.
Adjustment of the set point: To set the set point, the "Set" button has to be pressed briefly. After releasing
the button, the SET indicator flashes. Now, the set point can be programmed with the ▲ and ▼ buttons in steps
of 1 °C. The new set point is saved by pressing the "Set" button again. Programming is now complete. The
compressor has a switch-on delay of up to three minutes.
Boost function: Pressing the BOOST button (Fig. 1, No. 5) increases the fan output. This enables the cooler to
dissipate the heat more quickly, but it also becomes louder. The boost function can only be activated for two
hours (LED under 2 hours lights up) or permanently (LED under 24/7 lights up).
Hysteresis (switching accuracy): If the SET key is pressed for a longer time, the display shows 1d or 2d. 1d
= 1 °C hysteresis, 2d = 2 °C hysteresis. By using the arrow keys you can switch from 1d to 2d. At 1 °C hysteresis,
the cooler cools down to the set point and switches on again when the set point is exceeded by 1 °C. At 2d it is
2 °C accordingly.
Temperature difference between cooler display and aquarium temperature: By holding down both arrow
keys for a longer time, you get to a menu item by which you can correct deviations between cooler display and
aquarium temperature in the range of + 1.5 °C to - 1.5 °C. The display goes from 15 to -15. Each point means
0.1 °C.
