Vacuum Breaker
Body
1. Install the Vacuum Breaker
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Do not subject the
vacuum breaker to continuous pressure for more than twelve
hours.
NOTE: Install the vacuum breaker at least 6" (15.2 cm) above the
fixture rim. Consult local codes for vacuum breaker height.
NOTE: Apply a thread sealant where applicable.
Thread one 1/2" nipple into both the supply outlet piping and
the supply inlet piping. Ensure that the threads of each 1/2"
nipple extend beyond the finished wall.
Slide the wall bracket over both the 1/2" nipples until it is snug
against the finished wall.
Insert one sleeve through each hole of the wall bracket and
thread onto each 1/2" nipple. Secure with a seat wrench or a
7/16" square bar. Do not overtighten.
