The barbecue doesn't light
Excessive smoke from the
cooking surface
Odour of gas
DON NOT TRY TO LIGHT THE

POSSIBLE CAUSE
No gas
The ignition system is not
working
Gas tap regulated too high
Gas valve set too high
Gas leak
SOLUTION
Check that the shut-off valve is open (ON)
Gas cylinder empty - refill or change the cylinder
Check the battery - you should hear a clicking
sound when you press the knob
Replace the battery
Light the barbecue manually
Clean and delicately dry the electrode making sure
that its position is correct
Lower the gas or turn off some of the burners
Close the gas with the shut-off valves
Check for leaks, tighten the fittings
If the problem persists, call the Service Centre
