operating manual in a safe place for future
reference� Avoid any personal injury to yourself and

ArninG ! Risk of suffocation! Keep out of
reach of children! Keep the packaging and
protective foils as well as batteries out of reach
of children� Keep the warning lamp out of reach of
children� Small children can swallow small parts or
batteries� If a battery is swallowed, seek medical
attention immediately�

Aution ! Risk of explosion through improper
replacement or removal of the batteries! Only
replace the batteries with ones approved by the
manufacturer and dispose of batteries according to the
applicable regulations�

Aution ! Risk of injury to the retina� The
LEDs in the warning lamp are very bright and
could damage the eyes� Never look directly into
the beam produced by the warning lamp LEDs when
switched on�
Intended Use
The WL9 LED warning lamp with torch, subsequently
referred to as the warning lamp, is designed to identify
specifi c areas. Please note that the warning lamp is
no substitute for legally applicable safety measures�
Always observe national laws and regulations�
Any other use is considered unintended use� Unauthor-
ised modifi cations or reconstructions are not permitted.
Never attempt to complete any repair work yourself�

Inserting the Batteries
Only use batteries which comply with the specifi cations
in Chapter "Technical Data"�

Loosen the screws on
the rear side using a
suitable screwdriver�

Insert three appropri-
ate batteries in the
battery compartment�
Pay attention to correct
polarity�

Replace the battery
compartment cover
and tighten the screws
with an appropriate screwdriver�
