Operation
your Induction cooker is easy to use. First, read all operating Instructions, and
then take a few minutes to practice using the cooker. you can start by boiling
some water in a covered utensil. Adjust the temperature settings, and use the
warming function and the timer.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• do not place or store heavy objects (27kg/60lb) on the ceramic plate.
• Be sure to avoid exposing the unit to excessive moisture; never immerse
the unit in water, overfill utensils, or pour liquids onto the unit. clean up spills
immediately and allow the unit to dry completely before using.
• do not block the cool air intake at the front of the unit or the warm air
exhaust at the back of the unit. Allow at least 13cm (5 in.) clearance for
proper ventilation. the screens covering the intake and exhaust areas should
be cleaned frequently to prevent the build-up of dirt or grease which can
cause the unit to overheat.
• Plug the electrical cord into a wall outlet. do not plug anything else into
the same outlet. use of a Surge Protector is recommended because power
fluctuations can damage the unit.
• never leave an empty utensil unattended. overheating and damage may
occur.
• do not use outside in a wet environment.
• do not press buttons using sharp objects or fingernails - it could damage the
protective membrane.
• dropping or handling the unit roughly will damage the electrical components.
Handle with care.
• the Power light will flash and the unit will beep if the power is turned on
when there is no utensil on the unit, if a utensil is used that is unsuitable for
induction cooking, or if a smaller utensil is not properly centered.
• If you remove the utensil from the unit for more than 1 minute, the power will
turn off automatically.
• After turning off the unit, the internal cooling fan will continue to run for
several moments before automatically shutting down.
Failure to follow the handling and operating instructions in the use & care
manual will void the warranty.
How to Use
1. Place the unit on a flat, even surface.
2. center a cooking utensil on top of the ceramic Plate. An improperly centered
utensil can cause and excessive power load on the internal components.
3. to begin cooking, press the Power Button once. the Power Indicator light
will flash to indicate the unit is on. Press the up or down arrow once and the
unit will automatically begin at the medium (3) setting.
4. Press the Increase temp (

) button to lower the heat to the desired level. All the lights, up to the
corresponding cooking temperature light will glow red to indicate the
selected temperature level.
