2) Connect the end of the connection cable corresponding to the PROMAX-26 to
connector [4] and the other end to the serial port of your computer or printer.
Once the computer or printer have been connected, select on the PROMAX-26
the LOGGER operation mode. If PRINT function is selected data will be dumped to the
remote unit through the serial port.
The communication parameters used by the PROMAX-26, and which therefore
must be defined on the remote unit (PC ) are the following:
Rate
Data bits
Parity
Stop bits
The remote control software RM-025 (optional accessory) permits to carry out
from a computer the following options:
1)
CHANNELS PLAN PROCESSOR: Modify, add or delete channel plans.
2)
DATALOGGER: Permits to edit and to save all the measurement contained in a
logger.
3)
UPGRADE: Allows to update the PROMAX-26 software version.

Connecting to a LAN.

The instrument can be connected to a local network for data transfer, by means
of the ETHERNET connector [6] located in the lateral panel.
