CAUTION!
Electrolyte filling
Do not touch or damage the mem‐
brane at the bottom of the membrane
cap and the electrodes on the elec‐
trode shaft or bring them into contact
with greasy substances
The sensor will then no longer work
accurately
Replace the membrane cap with a
new one or send the sensor away to
have the electrodes cleaned
CAUTION!
Damage to the membrane
Possible consequence: Slight or minor
injuries, material damage
The sensor may only be slowly
inserted into or removed from the flow
gauge
Otherwise the membrane could
be damaged
The sensor must always be kept
moist after commissioning
e.g. the flow gauge must never
run dry
Fit the sensor as described in the oper‐
ating instructions for the flow gauge.

NOTICE!
Perform the following work over a sink
1.
Remove the red end cap fully from the
nozzle and cut open the nozzle at the
marking to open up the nozzle duct
2.
Remove the membrane protective cap
and unscrew the membrane cap from
the electrode shaft
3.
Flush the membrane cap and the elec‐
trode with a little electrolyte
4.
Fill the membrane cap up to the bottom
thread
5.
Remove air bubbles by gently tapping
the membrane cap onto a level surface
6.
Place the electrode shaft vertically onto
the filled membrane cap
7.
Turn the electrode shaft in such a way
that the air vent opening points
upwards.
8.
Do not close the air vent opening under‐
neath the tubular seal with your fingers
9.
Screw on the membrane cap slowly by
hand until it stops. Excess electrolyte
will escape through the air vent opening
when this is screwed together
10.
Rinse the leaked electrolyte from the
measuring cell and from your fingers
under running water
11.
There should be no air in the membrane
cap and the electrolyte. If there is, then
repeat the above steps if necessary
