We are pleased to congratulate you and thank you for buying this
Roca spa bath.
This manual is necessary for ensuring the correct installation of
the spa bath, as are the instructions pertaining to the installation
of the bathtub itself, in the case of acrylic baths.
Moreover, if you have purchased a bath side panel you will also
find specific instructions for fitting it.

1. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

Mains voltage supply: 230 VAC; 50 Hz ~ 60 Hz
Rated power / Rated current: 650 W / 2.9 A
This appliance is earthed and equipotential connection.
Water flow rate per jet: 23 l/min.
Protection: grade IP x 5
2. DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT
After unpacking the bath, check that it has been supplied com-
plete:
1. Bathtub unit with hydro-massage (spa) facilities ready-moun-
ted.
2. Pop-up automatic waste plug (in some models).
3. Bag containing:
- Installation instructions for spa bath.
- Instructions for installing the bath.
- User's manual.
- Guarantee form.
4. Handles (some baths do not have any). Before installing the
bath, fit the handles.
5. Bottle of "self-clean" liquid (only with baths that have the self-
clean option).
6. Radio and telephone module (in some models).

3. IMPORTANT NOTES

During installation, it is important to bear in mind the following points:
- When moving or manoeuvring the bath, hold it by the edge,
never by the hydro-massage pipes.
- Move the bath carefully, to avoid the hydromassage compo-
nents getting knocked about.
- Keep the surface of the bath covered until installation is
completed, to protect it.

4. INSTALLING THE BATH

To install the bathutub, follow the specific instructions sheet su-
pplied with this manual.
Do not fix the bath to the wall. Leave a clearance of 2-3 mm and
fill this in later with silicone sealant.(Fig. 2).
Bear in mind that while the space underneath the spa bath must
be closed off, some provision must be made for maintenance
access and for ventilation to prevent the spa mechanisms getting
overheated.
At any event, it must not be possible to open or remove any en-
closure element without the aid of some kind of tool (screwdriver,
etc.).There are two different ways of covering in the underside of
the bathtub: with side panels or brickwork outer finishing.

4.1. WITH SIDE PANELS

If you have bought a panel for closing in the bathtub, follow the
specific instructions provided with it. In this case there is no need
for a ventilation grille, as sufficient ventilation is procured via the
spaces between the panel and bath, and panel and wall.To gain
access for maintenance purposes, simply remove the correspon-
ding panel.
It is important to bear in mind that:
- The panels must be attached at the bottom using the screws
provided, as indicated in the relevant instructions.
- In the case of rectangular whirlpool baths the safety anchoring
included in the box of side panel accessories must be fitted.
Installation should be carried out according to the Assembly
Instructions.
- Under no circumstances must the clearance between the pa-
nel and bath, panel and wall and panel and floor be sealed up.

4.2. BRICKWORK OUTER FINISHING

In this case provision must be made for maintenance access and
a ventilation grille:
- Maintenance access requires a door measuring at least
75x45 cm, which should not be openable without the aid
of some sort of tool. It must be fitted in such a way that the
motor, level sensor and control unit are easily accessible (Fig.
1)..
-A ventilation grille of least 200 cm
the motor (for example, in the access door itself). Tools or
elements with diameters in excess of 10mm must NOT BE
poked through the plates of this grille (Fig. 3).
- Before bricking-in the installation, remember to check that
there are no leaks and that all the spa elements are in good
working order.
5. HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION
The spa systems do not require an external water supply point.
You will only have to connect up the taps that you purchased for
filling the bath.
ATTENTION: Before installing the bath:
- Secure the connections of the waste fitting and pump.
The pop-up waste should be connected via a nonrigid element.
To install the pipe linking the overflow to the drain, the pipe must
be cut to the right lenght for correct operation. The joints must be
well tightened to avoid leaks.
For the drain to work properly, take the precaution of placing the
height-adjustment stud in a position allowing the drain to be clo-
sed and opened without difficult. For this, the stud just needs to
be placed somewhere between its upper and lower limits, chec-
king that it is working properly. The stud is adjusted simply by tur-
