NEVER connect a laser printer or scanner to the UPS with other
computer equipment. A laser printer or plotter periodically draws
significantly more power than when idle, and may overload the UPS.
3.4 Operation
• Push down the power button for about 2 seconds to turn on the UPS. The LCD
display lights up.
• To turn off the unit, simply push down the power button for about 2 seconds.
• To silence the alarm, press down the mute button for about 2 seconds.
• To switch the display information, use the up and down buttons on the front
panel.
• When operating in AC mode and utility power is interrupted, the unit will beep 10
seconds to indicate that it has gone into battery mode.
• When operating in battery mode, the unit will beep every time the battery voltage
falls under or rises above the acceptable limits.
• This UPS is designed for "off-mode charging", that is when it is switched off, it will
automatically recharge the internal battery as long as it remains connected to
utility power.
• In AC mode, the display will turn off after about 20 seconds. In battery mode, the
display will turn off after about 20 seconds. If the UPS is powered off and not
plugged in, the display will turn off after about 5 seconds.

3.6 DC start function
• The DC start function enables the UPS to be started up when AC utility power is not
available, and battery is fully charged. Simply push the power button for 2 seconds
to turn it on.
4. ForzaTracker monitoring software
ForzaTracker is a new generation of UPS monitoring software, which provides
user-friendly interface to monitor and control your UPS system. This unique software
provides safe auto-shutdown for multi-computer systems during power failures.
With this software, users can monitor and control any UPS on the same LAN no
matter how far they might be from the UPS.
Installation procedure for Windows users:
1. Use the supplied CD or go to the website: https://www.forzaups.com/down-
loads/
2. After downloading the Forza Tracker, run the software.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions. It will ask for a password, use
5242-87f6-64re-di8d-986u (include the hypens) to install the software.
4. You may be asked to restart the computer. Please do so, after you will see the Forza
Tracker logo in your system tray.
5. Double click on the icon, to open Forza Tracker.
6. The default password to login is: 111296

5. Advanced operation

5.1 LCD display

The UPS comes equipped with an easy to read LCD with blue backlight that
displays the battery status, input voltage, output voltage, and operation mode of
the UPS.
