Front panel indicators
The sampling LED will be red when scope is connected but not operating. It will
 ash green when the scope is sampling data.
When in normal operating mode the channel LEDs on the front panel of the scopes
are off .
Ground terminal
It may be on occasion that a computer power supply interferes with the oscilloscope,
causing noise on the trace or a BNC shell voltage overrange indication. Connection
of the rear panel Ground Terminal to earth or the chassis ground of the vehicle
under test will resolve this problem.
SuperSpeed USB
The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 port allows fast data transfer and is backward-compatible
with USB 2.0.

Using PicoScope 6 Automotive for the first time

1. Run PicoScope 6 Automotive from the Windows Start menu or Desktop.
2. To test your oscilloscope, connect a probe to channel A. Touching the tip
of the probe should result in a small 50 Hz or 60 Hz signal showing in the
PicoScope window.
3. Choose your test from the Automotive menu. All the instructions you need
will be displayed in a help page.
