Safety Warnings
for Power Generators
Power Management
WARNING
• Power generators produce
dangerous voltages. If the machine is not insulated from
other power installations, people using it could suffer
severe injuries and even death due to electric shock.
WARNING
• The machine shall not be connected
to other power sources like those from power company
supply. In case of an emergency where it is strictly
necessary to connect into these power sources, only a
qualified electrician shall carry out the connection,
considering the differences between the power supply
and the machine technical specifications.
CAUTION
• Protection against electric shock is
dependent of the circuit switches which shall be specially
homogenized to the machine. If the circuit switches have
to be replaced go to a
Service Center.
CAUTION
• Alternate Current (a.c.) within the
electric system shall be carried out by a qualified
electrician complying with all the applicable power
standards and codes.
WARNING
• Inadequate connections can generate
an electric discharge up to the output lines. User using the
electric circuits, or people touching the lines when there is
a blackout can be electrocuted! When power is back, the
machine could explode, burn or cause fire.
• Ground properly the machine before starting.
• The machine can produce energy and work safely within
the following conditions: In altitudes lower than 4 921
feet, ambient temperature between 41 °F and 104 °F with
relative humidity up to 90%.
WARNING
Batteries when exploding can
cause blindness or even death.
• Disconnect the equipment before carrying out any type
of repairs.
• Do not carry out repairs close to an open fire.
• Use a protection mask and rubber gloves.
Fuel Handling
• Never smoke close to fuel or the gasoline filling up
zone, or when operating the machine.
• To reduce risk of fire or burns, handle fuel with care.
It is extremely flammable.
• Prevent gasoline of oil making contact with your skin.
• Protect your eyes to prevent gasoline and oil spillage. In
case there is an accidental contact wash with clear water
immediately. If irritation persists, consult a physician.
• Store fuel in an approved fuel container designed for
that purpose.
off the motor, place it on clear ground and wait for the
motor to cool down.
CAUTION
before operating the tool.
CAUTION
any, repair before using the machine to prevent fire or
injuries caused by burns.
• By no means burn spilled fuel to eliminate it.
• By no means use any other type of fuel than the one
specified in these instructions.
Before Operating the machine
CAUTION
Authorized
carefully. Any worn or damaged part shall be replaced
before using the machine. Do not try to repair the parts. It
can damage the machine and endanger your safety.
• Do not alter the safety devices. Verify regularly the
adequate functioning.
CAUTION
Lear the functions of all the controls.
• Keep at least 2 feet free space around the machine to
allow proper ventilation.
• Set the machine into a firm and leveled surface: avoid
sandy or snowed surfaces. If the machine tilts or turns
over fuel can be spilled, or sand, dust or water can enter
into the machine.
• Do not connect any appliance into the generator when
shut down. Connect the devices after is on.
• In the event the user has some issues or questions
about the machine consult with a
Authorized Service Center.
After Operating the Machine
• Before cleaning, repairing, inspecting, or storing the
machine shut down the motor and wait it cools down
completely.
• Wipe clean the machine with a damp cloth and cover it
to prevent dust accumulation.
• Store the machine in a clean, dry place and away from
children reach.
WARNING
• Before filling up the machine, shut
• Wipe clean all the gasoline spills if any,
