• For optimal efficacy, use the shortest exhaust duct possible,
avoiding elbows. If using a flexible duct, stretch it as much as
possible.
• If the air-outlet duct is too short and you need to join two or
more ducts, make sure to maintain the diameter and prevent
leaks at the joints.
• Make sure that the exhaust duct is clean and unobstructed.
4.- ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
•
Make sure the mains voltage and frequency coincide with
those on the characteristics plate on the hood and the remote
extraction unit.
• These devices are built to Class I electric-shock protection
standards and must therefore have a ground connection.
• A unipolar switch with at least a 3-mm opening between the
contacts must be installed between the device and the power
grid, suited to the total load and current standards in each
country.
• CK-50 / CK-50 2V / ECO-500
To connect the exhaust fan to a fixed outlet, access the side
terminal board panel and install a standard cable and pin to
withstand the full load indicated in the characteristics panel.
The outlet must be accessible.
