OPERATION
WARNING:
Do not direct grease toward hands, eyes, or other
body parts. Failure to follow this rule can result in
pressurized grease being injected into your skin
or eyes resulting in infection or serious personal
injury.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire, do not add grease to
machinery while it is in operation or still hot. Fire
could result in death or serious injury.
 Load grease as described earlier in the manual.
 Install the battery pack.
 Hold the grease gun near the object being lubricated or
sit it on its base in a stable location.
 Grasp the high pressure hose by the spring guard and
remove it from the hose clip. Remove cap.
 Connect the grease coupler to the grease fitting.
NOTE: Gently pull on the grease coupler to make sure it is
secure. If it does not hold on to the fitting or component,
the coupler could be damaged and may need to be
replaced.
 Slide lock on/off button to the unlocked position, and
press the switch trigger to start the flow of grease.
WARNING:
Hold the high pressure hose by the spring guard
and keep hands away from the exposed rubber
portions of the hose. Following this rule will reduce
the risk of injection.
The right angle coupler can be used for hard to reach appli-
cations. It can be added to the grease coupler at the end of
the high pressure hose.
 Remove the right angle coupler from its holder on the
side of the grease gun.
 Insert right angle coupler onto the grease coupler and
push until it is secure.
NOTE: For more stability, the sleeve from the right angle
coupler can slide down onto the grease coupler.
 Connect the right angle coupler to the grease fitting.
 Slide lock on/off button to the locked position, and press
the switch trigger to start the flow of grease.
 To remove the right angle coupler slide the sleeve back
to original position and pull to remove. Some force may
be required to remove the right angle coupler from the
grease coupler.
WARNING:
During operation, check the high pressure hose,
grease coupler, right angle coupler, air bleeder
valve and other components of the tool for leaks. If
a leak is present, stop the grease gun immediately
and discontinue use until the leak has been fixed.
Leaking hoses and fittings are capable of causing
injection injury.
 The tool should provide a continuous flow of grease
while the switch trigger is depressed. If the grease gun
fails to pump grease, pockets of air may be present in
the grease tube. Use the air bleeder valve to purge any
air trapped in the tube. For more details, see Using the
Air Bleeder Valve later in the manual.
 When the job is complete, release the switch trigger and
remove the coupler.
NOTE: If the coupler is difficult to remove, move it side
to side to remove any residual pressure and try again.
 Before storing the tool, lock the switch trigger by sliding
the lock on/off button into the locked position and remove
the battery pack.
TWO SPEED GEAR BOX
Set the gear box to 1 for the maximum pressure. Setting
the selector to 2 dispenses the maximum flow of grease
per minute.
PRE-SET DOSAGE COUNTER DIAL
See Figure 12, page 13.
The pre-set dosage counter dial can be set to limit the
amount of grease dispensed. Set the dial to ON to dispense
grease as long as the trigger is squeezed and held. Set the
dial to "1" through "50" to dispense grease for a specific
number of piston strokes. For example, if the dial is set
to "10" and the trigger is squeezed and held, the unit will
dispense grease for 10 piston strokes.
NOTE: The counter is reset each time the trigger is released.
If the counter is set for 10, but the trigger is only pulled for
6 strokes, the next time the trigger is pulled it will start over.
USING THE AIR BLEEDER VALVE
See Figure 13, page 13.
The presence of air inside the grease tube can cause the
grease gun to stall or stop during operation. Use the air
bleeder valve to purge this air from the system after loading
grease or as needed during operation.
 Lock the switch trigger by sliding the lock on/off button
into the locked position and remove the battery pack.
 Loosen but do not remove the air bleeder valve to allow
trapped air to escape.
 Tighten the air bleeder valve.
