Step 3. Placement of cover and defibrillator
Attach the nylon strap to the cover using the small bolt
and nut.
After mounting the cover you can place the defibrillator
on the platform. Use the elastic band to secure the
defibrillator.
You can now place the cover on the backplate. Align the
recess on the top of the cover with the special marker on
the top left of the back plate. Make sure the steel hook on
the bottom is in the cover before you start rotating. Turn
the cover to the right until it cannot move further to the
right. The steel hook now falls through the opening at the
bottom of the hood. Your Rotaid is mounted correctly.
Please now proceed with Step 4.
Step 4. Electrical wiring

IMPORTANT!

Always place the transformer unit inside since it is not
suitable for outdoor usage. Never place the transformer
unit inside the Rotaid cabinet!

1. Cut the cable to the required length
and strip the outer cable (about 2 cm)
2. Remove 5 mm of the isolation of both cables.
3. Place the crimp sleeve insulator over the cable.
4. Connect both wires to the connector
5. Place the crimp sleeve over the connecter
and use a heat gun to fixate. You can also isolate /
fixate the connector with tape.
6. Connect the connector to the plug of the transformer
(male – female)
7. Now connect the power plug to the transformer
and plug the power cable into the wall outlet.
8. The LED lighting in the cabinet is now activated
and will be on constantly. This indicates your
installation has been succesfull.
9. Your Rotaid 24/7 is now ready for use!
Note:
Place the
transformer
inside at
all times!
