8.3.1

Start-up after a scheduled shut-down

Before any start-up or after longer periods of decommissioning of the machine, the following
procedure must be followed:
- Check general condition.
- Ensure all safety equipment is operational.
- Ensure all safety devices are correctly fitted.
- Ensure that the necessary servicing (see Maintenance) has been carried out.
Before you can take the turbo steamer into operation, you'll require the following:
- CEE socket
- Water connection
Water hose (pressure resistant 3/4" hose with GeKa coupling)

Steam hose (temperature and pressure resistant 3/4" hose with NW 25 coupling)

For commissioning, follow this procedure:
- Connect a hose to a water tap and to the water connection (8) of the turbo steamer.
- Now create a fixed connection of the steam output connection (7) through a steam hose to the
winery appliance to be sterilised.
- Plug in the mains plug into the CEE socket.
- Close the water drainage tap (9).
- Turn on the water to water connection (8).
- Switch the turbo steamer on using the main switch (1).
- Using the power selector (3), select the power level.
