Gaster N 67 -- 107 AW
1. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 Introduction
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing Gaster N 67 ÷ 107 AW, a Lamborghini floor-standing boiler featuring advanced design, cutting-edge technology,
high reliability and quality construction. Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
Gaster N 67 ÷ 107 AW is a high-efficiency heat generator for central heating using natural gas or liquefied gas (configurable at the time
of installation) and regulated by an advanced electronic control system.
The boiler shell consists of cast-iron elements whose particular shape guarantees high exchange efficiency under all operating conditions
and an open-flue burner equipped with electronic ignition and ionisation flame control.
The boiler has an automatic air vent valve, a 2-stage control thermostat, a safety thermostat and fume thermostat.
Thanks to the electronic ignition and flame control system, unit operation is for the most part automatic.
The user only has to set the system temperature by means of the control thermostat.

1.3 Lighting and shutdown
Lighting
• Open the gas cock ahead of the boiler.
• Turn on or insert any switch or plug ahead of the boiler
• Turn the boiler switch "8" to "On" ("fig. 1 - Control panel").
• Turn knob "7" to the preselected temperature and any room thermostat to the desired temperature value. The burner will ignite and
the boiler starts working automatically, controlled by its adjustment and safety devices.
• If the boiler is equipped with a thermostatic electronic controller, fitted in position 1 of "fig. 1 - Control panel", the user must also take
into account the manufacturer's instructions.
If the burners fail to ignite and the shutdown indicator button "6" lights up after correctly carrying out the lighting procedure after,
wait about 15 seconds and then press the above-mentioned button. The flame controller reset in this way will then repeat the
ignition cycle. If the burners do not light after several attempts, consult the section on faults.
In case of a power failure while the boiler is working, the burners will go out and automatically relight when the power is restored.
Turning off
Close the gas cock ahead of the boiler, turn the boiler switch "8" to "Off" and disconnect the power to the unit.
To avoid damage caused by freezing during long shutdowns in winter, it is advisable to drain all water from the boiler and the
system; or add a suitable antifreeze to the heating system.
1.4 Adjustments
System temperature adjustment
Turn the knob 7 in "fig. 1 - Control panel" clockwise to increase the heating water temperature, or anticlockwise to decrease it. The tem-
perature can be varied from a minimum of 30°C to a maximum of 90°C. However, it is advisable not to operate the boiler below 45°C.
Room temperature adjustment (with optional room thermostat)
Set the desired temperature in the rooms with the room thermostat. On command of the room thermostat, the boiler lights and brings the
system water to the temperature set by boiler adjustment thermostat 7 in "fig. 1 - Control panel". The generator goes off when the required
temperature in the rooms is reached.
If the room thermostat is not installed, the boiler will keep the system at the temperature set by the boiler control thermostat.
System water pressure adjustment
The filling pressure with the system cold, read on the boiler water gauge detail 2 in"fig. 1 - Control panel"), must be approx 1.0 bar. If,
during operation, the system pressure falls (due to the evaporation of gases dissolved in the water) to values below the minimum descri-
bed above, the User must bring it to the initial value by operating the filling cock. At the end of the operation always close the filling cock.
