Connecting the sensor
Open the battery cover on the back of the
weather station and insert the batteries.
Check that the batteries are correctly fi tted.
Close the battery cover.
Plug the adapter in and plug the connector
from the adapter into the power socket on
the weather station so that it runs on mains
power with battery backup.
When you insert the batteries, all the
segments on the LCD display will light up
for 3 seconds and a beep will be heard.
The temperature indoors and the relative
humidity indoors will be registered.
The receiver will now connect to the sensor.
This takes about 3 minutes, and the antenna
symbol in the OUTDOOR area of the weather
station display will fl ash.
Open the battery cover on the back of the
sensor and insert the batteries. Check that
the batteries are correctly fi tted. Close the
battery cover.
The sensor now transmits a signal to the
weather station and the transmission
indicator fl ashes. Shortly afterwards the
temperature outdoors and the relative
humidity outdoors are shown on the display.
If no data is received from the sensor, "-.-" will
be displayed instead.
If you press and hold the DOWN button for 3
seconds, the weather station will resume the
search for the signal from the sensor.

Automatic updating of the time
Once the weather station and the sensor are
linked to one another, the weather station
shortly starts to search for the time signal to
ensure that the time is displayed correctly.
The antenna symbol in the area with the time
and date on the weather station display will
fl ash.
If you press and hold the UP button for 2
seconds, the weather station will resume the
search for the time signal.
At 01:00/02:00/03:00 the updating process
will be repeated automatically and the
time will be synchronized if a time signal is
received.
If reception fails, the antenna symbol
will go off , and the weather station will
automatically resume the update at the next
hour change.
This procedure is repeated up to 5 times.
If no time signal is received for 7 minutes,
the search will stop and the antenna symbol
will go off . The search will resume at the next
hour change.
