Assembly

IV.A. Installing plow blade
1. Place plow blade face down. Position plow
mounting plates (A6) on the inside of the plow
blade center ribs.
2. Use fasteners to secure (B5, B16). Tighten
fasteners to torque specification listed. See Figure
1.
3. Position Push tube assembly (A1) to Plow blade.
4. Secure Plow blade to Push tube assembly using
fasteners (B10, B11), Bushing (A4) and Bushing
Retainer (A5). Tighten to torque Specification
listed. See figure 2.
IV. B. Installing Plow Springs
5. Allow the push tube assembly to rotate forward
about the bushing. Install plow springs onto blade
and spring hanger (A2) onto springs as shown in
figure 3.
6. Position the Spring Hangers (A2) to the inside
and the Stop Blocks (A8) to the outside of the
assembly by loosely installing fasteners (B5, B6).
Do not tighten fasteners. Stop block fasteners
should be loose enough to allow the stop blocks
to pass beyond rib mount plates (A6). See figure
3 and figure 4 (springs and blade omitted from
illustration for clarity).
