Adjustable slot car speed controller, for traditional analog and digital systems (Ninco, SCX,
●
SSD e Carrera).
Contactless, friction free, linear magnetic trigger position readout (patent pending).
●
Interchangeable cartridge system, to connect to analog or digital systems. The digital cartridge
●
is universal for all known systems (Ninco, SCX, SSD e Carrera).
For both systems – Analog and digital:
Fine tuning of minimum speed, and openloop antispin (power ramp trim).
●
Alternative selectable modes: linear response with maximum speed selection (100%60%) or
●
trigger adjustable curve response setup with fixed 100% maximum speed.
Adjustable braking (for digital: adjustable braking applies to Hornby SSD only, all other
●
digital systems have fixed 100% braking due to their inherent design)
Data logging, timing and telemetry system interface (USB memory card and PC) (these
●
functions require an additional external piggyback module, a specific track interface module,
and PC software, all available in 2008)
Fixed speed mode – for motor runin or ghost car with adjustable speed
●
Analog system specific features:
Short circuit protection
●
Two different braking modes: traditional adjustable (0100%) and timed sweep (from 100% to
●
0 in adjustable time).
Arrow Up Push Button 'Single Shot Max Brake' (SSB): when pressed and released, the system
●
memorizes that whenever the next braking will happen, the braking knob setting must be
overridden and a 100% braking action must be applied. Pressing the button again before
braking cancels the request. Single shot action.
Arrow Down Push Button 'Max Brake Override' (MBO): while pressed, any braking action
●
will be at 100%, overriding the knob settings.
Round Push Button 'Instant Hand Brake' (IHB): while pressed, an instant braking according to
●
the braking knob settings will occur, regardless of the trigger position.
Digital system specific features:
Arrow Up Push Button (single shot latched) 'Latched Lane Change' (LLC): when pressed and
●
released, the system latches the 'Lane change' command for two seconds. In other words, for
two seconds the controller activates the 'lane change' request. Pressing the button again within
this two seconds time frame cancels the request. Single shot action.
Arrow Down Push Button 'Lane Change' (LC): standard mode lane change – active while
●
pressed.
Round Push Button 'Instant Hand Brake' (IHB): while pressed, an instant braking according to
●
the selected braking knob setting (if applicable, else fixed 100%) is applied, regardless of
trigger position.
Extra features:
'stand alone' mode with adjustable speed for motor runin or 'ghost car' mode.
