Special safety instructions

Protect from frost and low temperatures.
Check that the cable is correctly wound onto
the drum before each use (see illustration),
that the hoist is mounted correctly and that
the remote control works correctly.
Never use if the cable is worn, frayed or
defective. Replace cable with a new one of
the same type before using the hoist again.
Do not wind more than 15 metres of cable
onto the drum.
Always ensure that there are at least three
cable windings on the drum.
Check that the item is secure on the hook
before raising it.
Avoid loading the hoist beyond its max.
capacity. If the hoist cannot lift an item, it
is because it is too heavy. Release the hoist
button on the remote control, reduce the
load or fi nd another way to lift it. Allow the
motor to cool off before using the hoist
again.
Never stand underneath the item being lifted
or when it has been lifted.
Never leave or switch the hoist off while it
has an item raised. Remove the item from
the hook and rewind the cable completely
before switching off or leaving the hoist.
Mounting
The hoist must be mounted on a pipe or
the like able to bear its weight plus the
maximum load (210 kg total).
It can be mounted on the underside or side
of the pipe depending on whether it is to be
used for lifting or winching. Never use a hoist
mounted for lifting as a winch, or vice-versa!
Mount the hoist using the mounting brackets
(1) and bolts, nuts and washers supplied.
Insert plug in mains socket.
