While charging or discharging, the most important data is stored on the chip/key.

END Of A chARGE / DISchARGE PROcESS

The processor always employs the ideal process by taking the charge parameters into
account, with the result that the unit automatically terminates the charge or discharge
process exactly at the right moment. The charger always employs the optimum process
for each battery type.

Operating Instructions
Power Peak ® Quad EQ-BID
First connect the BID chip / KEY to the charger
using the adaptor lead. This automatically causes
the screen display shown here to appear.
If the charge parameters on the chip are accep-
table, press the 'ENTER' button to prepare the
process. From this point on, the procedure is iden-
tical to a normal process initiated from a battery
memory;the sequence is described in Chapter 7.4.
