clockwise till it reaches the brine and rinse (III)
position and make sure that there is no more wa-
ter under pressure coming out from the drain.
• Uscrew the parts 7F and 8F with a screwdriver
(fig. 9).
• Put a rigid stick with a diameter of about 4 mm
and 30 cm long into the hole to insert part 7F
and push it until its opposite side comes out
from the injector (28 F).
• Clean the three pieces and make sure that the 1.5
mm injector hole is completely free. This is fun-
damental to ensure a correct suction of the salty
water in the pickle.
• Reassemble the parts correctly and open slowly
the water once again; connect the plug to the
socket and set again the timer, if necessary.

• Turn the button (always counterclockwise) on
the brine refill and purge (IV) position for
about 2 minutes. Turn again the red push button
onto brine and rinse (III) and make sure that
water suction from pickle is correct.
7. Troubleshottings guide
• Experience shows that 90% of bad functioning of
water softeners is caused by bad installations of
the draining pipe. For this reason, the manufactu-
rer recommends a rigid pipe with an internal dia-
meter of at least 8 mm.
• Before applying the water softener, it is suggested
to install a mechanical filter so as to prevent sub-
stances such as earth from seeping into the water
softener.
