V. Advanced operation
Pairing the speaker with wireless devices
Note: Before installing this product, please make sure your device has the built-in Bluetooth
If your device is not Bluetooth
-enabled, you must purchase a Bluetooth
®
above.
1.
Make sure that the power switch on the speaker is set to ON.
2.
Enable the Bluetooth
feature on your audio device and set it to discover the wireless
®
loudspeaker.
3.
Remember to place your wireless device and the speaker not more than one meter away from each other.
4.
Next, cycle to the Bluetooth
feature on the speaker by pressing the MODE button found on the main unit or
®
the remote control. The Bluetooth
symbol starts blinking fast on the display to indicate that the speaker has
®
entered into the pairing mode.
5.
Once the speaker appears listed under the newly found Bluetooth
it will ask if you want to pair with it.
6.
Accept by pressing Yes or Ok. If you have a lower Bluetooth
passkey 0000 (4 zeros).
7.
When pairing is successful, the Bluetooth
symbol stops blinking and appears steady on the display. If after 60
®
seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 6 described above.
8.
You can now start streaming audio through the speaker wirelessly from your favorite Bluetooth
devices.
VI. Troubleshooting
•
If the sound is distorted: try lowering the volume control of your sound source or musical instrument. Also,
try to reduce the overall volume of the speaker.
•
If there is too much bass: try adjusting the tone or EQ control from speaker or your sound source to lower
the bass level. This will allow you to play the music louder before clipping (distortion) occurs.
•
If there is a high-pitched whistling noise when using a microphone: this is probably feedback. Point the
microphone away from the speaker.
•
If you can't hear the microphone over the music volume: turn down the music volume from your source.
•
it fails to tune to the next radio station: press the MODE button to tuner. Press the
When
or
button to automatically tune a station. Press

•
If the radio station channel is flashing: the unit is currently muted. Unmute to stop the LED from flashing
and resume playback.
•
If the bLUE icon blinks fast: it means that the unit is currently in Bluetooth

If the bLUE icon blinks slowly: the Bluetooth

The USB track # (example: 001) blinks slowly: the USB drive music playback is muted. Unmute to stop the
track indication from flasing and resume playback.
