IV. Initial setup
Note: For your safety, read this manual and follow all safety
instructions before using the product.
1.
Turn the volume control on the rear panel fully counterclockwise.
2.
Set the bass and treble equalizer controls to the 12 o'clock position.

Connect audio input devices first. Make sure all input sources such as microphones, CD players, or digital
media players are turned off and volume settings are set to their lowest settings (zero).

Check that the loudspeaker voltage selector is set to the same voltage as the AC power outlet.
5.
Then, connect the power cord to the loudspeaker and AC power outlet.
6.
Turn the main power switch to the ON position and verify that the rear power LED indicator is illuminated.
7.
Slowly turn the volume clockwise until the sound output is at the desired level. If there is no sound, check to
make sure the source equipment is providing audio output.
IMPORTANT:
Always ensure that the speaker unit is the last thing to power-up, and the first thing to turn off
when operating your complete system.
Speaker stand installation
1. If using the supplied speaker stand, fully extend the tripod legs on a flat, stable surface.
2. Look in the box contents for the rubber feet and stand mount knob.
3. Raise the mounting pole up to the desired height, and tighten the side adjustment knob.
4. Insert the locking pin into the pole hole, to secure the speaker cabinet at the set height.
5. Turn the bottom knob counterclockwise, to prevent the screw from blocking the opening.
6. Align the speaker mount socket with the pole stand, and carefully slide it down into the pole.
