This appliance is in conformance with the requirements of
the applicable European directives. Conformity has been
substantiated by the proper documents which - together
with the declaration of conformity - are filed with the manu-
facturer.
Range of application
The module EM10 (error module) can be connected to
a boiler equipped with a UBA 3/UBA 3.5/EMS/MC10.
Function of the module
– The EM10 reports all locking malfunctions on the boiler.
System errors, service announcements, blocking
malfunctions and malfunctions of external control
devices are not reported.
– The EM10 can, via an external control voltage of 0-10 V
(rectified voltage), influence the flow temperature or
control the power of the boiler.
Installation
DANGER OF FATAL ACCIDENT
Electrical components may be live.
Carry out work on the electrical installation
in accordance with legal provisions.
Installation- and maintenance work may only be
carried out by authorized specialists (Corgi or
ACS licensed).
a) Installation in the boiler (see fig. 6 to 14, page 45 and 46).
Remove the main supply to the boiler and remove the
casing/cover.
If necessary, fit the wall bracket in the boiler (fig. 11,
page 46).
Fit the EM10 into its position.
b) Wall mounting (see fig. 15 to 18, page 46 and 47).
Mark and drill the two 6 mm holes.
Insert the wall plugs and screws and fit the wall
bracket.
If necessary, secure the wall bracket through the drill
hole (fig. 15, pos. 2).
Fit the EM10 on the wall bracket.
