7. Battery-starter as a portable power source
The battery-starter can be used as a portable power source. Simply connect the device with a
12 V adapter to the battery-starter. The power supply of 12 V is protected by a protective switch
up to 20 A. For item 5439 3400 please make sure that you chose an output voltage of 12 V!
The device has to be in the „OFF" mode.

1. Maintenance and service
* The battery-starter must be kept clean.
* Do not use degreasing agent or water to avoid corrosion.
* For all questions and spare part orders, please always state the item-no. of the device.
* Inspection and repair has to be done by the qualified personnel of PQS , company FÖRCH,
please always send the charger as well.
2. Spare parts
* Only use original spare parts of the manufacturer.
* Wrong or defective spare parts can lead to damages or total failure of the device, as well as to
severe property damage and personal injury.
* When using non-approved spare parts all warranty, service, compensation and liability claims
against the manufacturer or his representatives, dealers and agents become void.

Custody and storage
1. Custody and storage:
The battery-starter has to be kept and stored only under the following conditions:
* If not in use, always connect the device to the supplied automatic charger.
* Do not keep the battery-starter outdoors.
* Store the battery-starter in a dry and dustfree area.
* Do not expose battery-starter to liquids and aggressive substances.
* Storage temperature: -10 up to +35°C.
* Relative humidity max. 60%.
