For solution C:
Detection is based only on the movement of the opening element, and not on the
current opening status (open/closed).
- You are alerted of an intrusion in the event of any movement.
- On the TaHoma serenity interface, the sensor icon does not change and, as

a default, continues to show the status of the opening element before the
intrusion (closed).

• Shock detection
In order to be able to detect attempted intrusion, install the
opening and shock detector as follows:
- A) Unit on the moving part and the magnet on the frame of the
door or window.
The Unit detects intrusion attempts (intrusion alert), and the Magnet makes
it possible to identify the actual opening status (detector status visible in the
interface) and so identify whether or not intrusion has taken place.

In order to be able to detect openings, install the opening and
shock detector as follows:
- A) Unit on the moving part and the magnet on the frame of the
door or window.
- B) Or the reverse depending on your installation.
