2. HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS
All of the installation operations must be carried out by personnel qualified in accordance with Italian law no.46 dated March 5 1990 and
in compliance with current legislation and standards.
Preliminary operations
Before performing the hydraulic connections, it is recommended to verify
that the nuts for the pump connections, the caps, the sensor lodgings, the
thermo pressure gauge and the fittings are properly tightened and that the
pump is installed for the proper direction of flow (Figure 3). When finished,
wash out the upstream and downstream piping in order to eliminate any
eventual residues which may be present within the circuit's components.
Connections to the hydraulic circuits
The MULTIMIX unit comes supplied in various preassembled configurations.
The only connections to be performed are those to the boiler circuit, to the
high temperature distribution circuits or to the floor circuits. Take care to
connect the piping for the proper flow direction:

When performing the hydraulic connections, be careful to avoid over-tighten-
ing the threaded connections.
Connection to the distribution circuits
For proper connection to the distribution circuits, use RA 761N screw-on fittings for multilayer pipe (Table 1-a) or RP 731N for
polyethylene pipe (Table 1-b), or else MP 5608 push fittings for multilayer pipe (Table 1-c).

Connection to the boiler circuit
The connections between the main manifold-separator's preinstalled ball valve and the primary circuit are to be performed by
means of RA 761N screw-on fittings for multilayer pipe (Table 2-a) or RP 731N for polyethylene pipe (Table 2-b), or else MP 5608
push fittings for multilayer pipe (Table 2-c). As shown in Figure 4, after the manifold-separator has been properly positioned (with
the "MULTIMIX" writing legible and straight), the connection to the manifold-separator can be performed above (A), below (B) on the
right (C) or on the left (D).
