1. Installation of the Clima Micro Plus
Min/Max Fan Speed
1. Do not place the sensor to be connected in direct
sunlight nor in the direct airflow of fans, as this may
influence the measurements. The sensor must be
mounted at a height of +/- 1 meter above the floor.
2. Mount the TechGrow Clima Micro Plus Min/Max Fan
Speed on the wall with the supplied mounting kit.
3. Connect the sensor to the bottom of the Clima
Micro Plus Min/Max Fan Speed.
4. Put the plug of the fan into the outlet of the Clima
Micro Plus Min/Max Fan Speed.
5. Put the plug of the Clima Micro Plus Min/Max Fan
Speed into an electrical outlet.
6. Ready!
2. Operation of the Clima Micro Plus
Min/Max Fan Speed
The Clima Micro Plus Min/Max Fan Speed controls the
minimum and maximum fan speed to reach or keep the
desired room temperature. This controller can measure
and display the current temperature value of the
connected sensor, and record and display the
minimum/maximum values.
The Clima Micro Plus Min/Max Fan Speed has 3 rotary
knobs to set the minimum fan speed, the maximum fan
speed and the desired temperature level.
You can also set a hysteresis of 1 °C – 5 °C during the
start-up of the Clima Micro Plus Min/Max Fan Speed.
The fan control works on the basis of the set minimum
fan speed, maximum fan speed, temperature and
hysteresis.
Example
If the desired temperature is set to 27 °C and the
hysteresis is set to 2 °C, the temperature can be between
25 °C and 29 °C (27 °C - 2 °C / 27 °C + 2 °C).
If the temperature is below the set temperature minus
hysteresis (in this example, below 25 °C), the fan runs at
the set minimum fan speed.
If the temperature is above the set temperature plus
hysteresis (in this example, above 29 °C), the fan runs at
the set maximum fan speed.
If the measured temperature is equal to the set
temperature (in this case 27 °C), the fan runs at idle
speed (see section 4.5).

Within the set hysteresis range (+/- 2 °C), the speed is
automatically reduced to the set minimum fan speed or
increased to the set maximum fan speed.
If a sensor is connected, the current temperature is
displayed on the top line of the main screen. The
bottom line shows alternately: temperature setpoint, set
hysteresis, measured minimum temperature, measured
maximum temperature and the current fan speed.

NOTE If no sensor is connected to the Clima Micro

at the set minimum speed.
3. Connecting sensor
The minimum sensor required is the TempProbe. When
using a TempProbe, the controller can only be used
stand-alone. If you use a temperature / relative humidity
sensor, you can link the controller to other TechGrow
devices, such as the data logger (DL-1).
Always switch the controller off if you want to replace
the sensor.
