IQ CENTRAL CONTROL
COMMUNICATIONS
The IQ Central Control Software provides
programming, manual operation, and monitoring of
LXM-DTC Satellite Controllers from a local or remote
PC. Two models of IQ Satellites are available:
LXM-DTC-PR Satellites include an internal POTS
(Plain-Old Telephone Service) phone modem and
an RS232 port (for direct cable connection to a PC
or to an external modem).
LXM-DTC-R Satellites include an RS232
communication port for direct cable connection
to a PC or an external modem.
The IQ Central Computer can communicate with an
LXM-DTC Satellite Controller via multiple
communications options:
Internal Telephone Modem
Direct Connect. This option uses an IQ-DTC-DCC
Direct Connect Cable (Black) to connect the IQ
Central Computer and LXM-DTC Satellite.
IQ LXM-DTC Satellite Controller
External Modem. This option uses an IQ-DTC-
EMC external modem cable (Beige) to connect an
LXM-DTC Satellite to an external modem.
External modem options include:
Cellular Data Modem
Ethernet Device Server - wired or wireless (Wi-Fi)
Radio Modem
Fiber-Optic Modem
Short-Haul Modem
Telephone Modem (configured for countries
where the LXM-DTC internal modem is not
certified).
