56. Lubricate the threads of the upper fluid seal housing
(47) with a Teflon thread sealant, or similar, to prevent
the threads from galling.
57. Install the upper cartridge o-ring (48) into the fluid seal
housing (47).
58. Slide the upper fluid seal housing (47) containing the
upper cartridge o-ring (48) over the rod and thread into
the fluid junction outlet (56). Tighten with a spanner or
pipe wrench.
59. Re-assemble the lower ball cage, pin, ball, gasket and
seat (69, 70, 71, 72, 73) into the pressure cylinder (68)
and tighten.
60. Re-assemble the fluid tube gasket (74).
61. Thread the pressure cylinder (68) into the fluid outlet
junction (56) and tighten. Take care not to damage the

62. Thread the upper end of the pump rod (58) into the
lower end of the air motor piston rod (35) until the
holes line up.
63. Insert the pump rod locking clip (3) to secure the pump
and air motor rods together.
64. Install the tie rods (46) into the base of the air motor.
Tighten securely.
65. Push the fluid section up so that the ends of the tie rods
extend through the holes of the pump adapter plate (54).
66. Secure the tie rods with the tie rod locknuts (55).
Tighten securely.
67. Install the pump into the mounting bracket or tripod.
68. Install the fluid outlet junction locknut (57) and tighten
to hold the pump securely in the bracket or tripod.
