When you are done reviewing items in the System Information Menu,
use the LEFT button to go back to the Main Menu.
Start Regeneration:
Selecting START REGENERATION and pressing either the ENTER or
RIGHT button takes you to the options of initiating a manual
regeneration.
This menu offers two options: Start a regeneration now or start it later.
All manual regenerations are done with the full salt dosage.
Regenerate Now
?
Pressing the Enter button while this item is highlighted will take you to
the CONFIRM REGEN NOW screen.
If you want to regenerate immediately, press the ENTER button while
"YES" is highlighted.
If you do not want to regenerate immediately, use the RIGHT button to
highlight "NO," then press ENTER.
If you choose "YES," the control will immediately return to the home
screen, displaying "SYSTEM: REGEN IN 10.
The control does a 10 second countdown before starting the regenera-
tion. This gives you one more chance to abort the manual regeneration.
Pressing any button during the 10 second countdown cancels the regen-
eration and leaves you at the home screen.
Start Regen Later?
To set a full regeneration to occur later within the next 24 hours, use the
DOWN button to select this item, then press ENTER. The screen will
display a time of day for the manual regeneration.
Use the UP and DOWN buttons to change the start time. You may set
minutes as well as hours. If you press ENTER, the manual regeneration
is now set to begin with cycle 1, two hours before the time shown.
Please note that this regeneration start time applies only to this one
manual regeneration. It will not change your normal start time for
future automatic regenerations.
Should you decide to cancel the planned regeneration, return to this
menu item, use the RIGHT button to highlight "Cancel" the press
ENTER.
