Description
The 46260.10P.02 switch with 8 PoE ports is an unmanaged switch, used in Gigabit networks for IP systems for: video surveillance,
video door entry and By-me home automation systems.
Characteristics
- Main ports:
• 8 Gigabit PoE Ethernet ports for downlink;
• 2 Gigabit PoE Ethernet ports for uplink;
- CCTV Mode: The device can be set to "Default mode" or "CCTV Mode".
• In "Default mode" the downlink ports can communicate with each other and with the uplink ports;
• In "CCTV Mode", the VLAN function is enabled for the downlink ports: the downlink ports communicate directly only with the
uplink ports;
- Power supply input: 54 Vdc;
- Transmission distance: 0~100 m;
- Conformity to standards: IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3ab, IEEE802.3X, IEEE802.3af/at;
- PoE power supply: each PoE port can deliver up to 30W.
For the PoE power supply, the switch delivers a total of max. 120W.
- The device is protected from both overvoltage (6 kV) and electrostatic discharge (ESD), EFT test standard;
- Operation: "plug and play": no settings are required.
Warning
The transmission distance depends on the signal source and cable quality; for best performance use Ethernet standard cable type
Cat5/5e/6.
Warning
After configuring the operation mode (DEFAULT/CCTV) the device must be rebooted.
Installation procedure
Before installation, check that the following components are present; contact your retailer for any missing components.

- Installation accessories
- User manual
Run the installation procedure as described below.
1) Before installation switch off the power supply to all connected devices to prevent damaging the device;
2) Connect the IP PoE video cameras to the downlink ports 1~8 via an Ethernet cable;
3) Connect the uplink port to a storage device, such as an NVR video recorder or a PC, via an Ethernet cable;
4) Connect the power supply;
5) Check that the installation and connection of the equipment are correct and that the equipment is working properly,
then switch on the system power supply;
6) Make sure that the devices are powered and are working properly.
