Welcome to the Opis 60s cable, your new six es retro-styled fi xed-line rotary phone.
This short manual provides you with a quick start guide to get you up and running in
no me.
Quick Start
❶ Assembly
Unpack phone, receiver, phone cable and adapters from the box. Plug the receiver into
the bo om of the phone (1). Plug the phone line cable into the bo om of the phone
(2) and connect it to your phone outlet.
Note: In many countries you may have to a ach an adapter to the phone line cable
before being able to plug it into your phone outlet. Several adapters are included with
your Opis 60s cable, but if the one for your country should be missing, it is easy to
obtain one from a local electronics shop.
❷ Make a call
Pick up the receiver, wait for the dial-tone and dial the number:
Format:
<phone number>
Example:
if the number is 0123456789: 0123456789
You will now be connected to the dialled number.
Tip: You can Redial the last number by dialling #/R instead of the <phone number>.
❸ Receive a call
Pick up the receiver to accept a call.
❹ Using DTMF func onality
While your Opis 60s cable looks like it is from the six es, it has support for modern
DTMF tone menu control (needed for phone banking, etc.) as well as for the classic
pulse dial method. You can change between the two by sliding the switch in the bot-
tom of the phone (3):
Format:
Slide to P (classic pulses) or T (modern DTMF tones)
Example:
if you want to ac vate DTMF tones: Slide to T
Any number dialled will be played with the chosen method.
