I CD insertion
• (fig. 1-2-3) Manually open the CD player (phase 1). Press
the key at upper left to slide out the tray (phase 2-3). Posi-
tion the CD as shown (phase 4). Press the key to slide the
tray back in (phase 5-6).
I Turning on power
• (fig. 4) Press the "PLAY/PAUSE" key (
show the number of the first track ("tr 01") and the disk will
start playing. An arrow will be shown in the upper left-hand
corner of the display.
I Adjusting Volume
• (fig. 5) Press the "VOL" button; the display shows the cur-
rently selected value.
• (fig. 6) Press the "+" or "-" button to turn the volume up or
down. Every time you press the "+" or "-" button, the value
shown increases or decreases, up to a maximum value (31)
or minimum (1).
• If you hold down the "+" button or the "-" button, the volume
is changed continuously, until the maximum or minimum val-
ue is reached respectively.
• Once you have selected the required volume, the value is
displayed for about 4 seconds, after this, the time appears
again.
I Selecting tracks
• (fig. 7) Press the "TRACK" key (
number of the track currently being played.
• (fig. 8) To select the next track, press the "+" key. Each time
you do so, the displayed track increases by one until you reach
the maximum number of available tracks.
If you continue to hold down the "+" button, forward scanning
continues.
• (fig. 8) To select the track previous to the one shown, press
the "-" twice. The first time you do so, the track currently shown
starts playing from the beginning. Each time you press after
that, the value drops by one until you come to the first track
on the disk.
If you continue to press down the "-" button, backward scan-
ning continues.
• To exit the track selection function, press the "TRACK" but-
ton again.
