REMOTE SPEAKER

A speaker rated at 3-10 W should be used for this function. Plug the speaker into
the EXT-SPKR jack on the rear of the transceiver. When the external speaker is
plugged in, the internal one is disconnected.

FREQUENCY BAND SELECTION

The frequency bands must be chosen according to the country where you are going
to operate.
Procedure:
1.
Switch off the radio
2.
Turn on the transceiver while keeping pressed the FILTER and AUDIO but-
tons at the same time
3.
Select the desired frequency band (see the chart) by rotating the CHANNEL
knob or by pushing the UP/DOWN buttons on the microphone.
4.
Press the AUDIO button to confirm your selection
Note1: in the UK frequency band it is possible to select directly the EC band by pushing
the AM/FM control for 2 seconds.
Note2: if you select a frequency band operating in AM or FM only, the AM/FM button
activates the LCR function (Last Channel Recall).
