INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND USE
FOREWORD
Thank you for having chosen this ironer. If
you follow the present instructions carefully
you will certainly be satisfied with its
performance and guarantee.
In the event of claims or comments, the
reference text to be considered is the one
written in the manufacturer's native
language, that is, in Italian.
1. GUARANTEE
- The guarantee has a validity of twelve (12)
months from the date of purchase of the
appliance or of any integral part of it.
- The guarantee covers the substitution of any
defective parts which are ensured as having
been damaged during manufacture. The
guarantee is applied directly by the dealer.
- Labour costs are always to be met by the
purchaser, together with transport, crating
costs, and transport risks.
- The guarantee is contingent on the damaged
parts being sent back CARRIAGE PAID
along with comprehensive information on
the appliance, such as model, serial number
and defect of the machine onto which the
damaged part was assembled.
- The guarantee does not apply in case of
machine misuse, incorrect electrical
connection, wrong or inappropriate
installation, regardlessness of the instructions
concerning assembly and use or machine
tampering by unauthorised persons. The
guarantee is void if the serial number is
scratched, taken off or altered in any way.
- The guarantee is not valid for the following
items: parts which are subject to normal wear
like motors, reduction gears, electrical and
electronic parts, roller cover.
2. INTRODUCTION
The present booklet has been drawn up in a
simple and rational way, in order for the
reader to get acquainted with the appliance.
Please, read it carefully and keep it with the
machine. The warning and advice contained
in this manual might not cover every possible
contingency. This is why it is important to
point out that common sense, care and caution
cannot be supplied with the machine, but
must be added by those responsible for its
installation, maintenance and use. Whoever
operates the machine must have read this
manual beforehand. Should the appliance
need
repairing,
the
recommends the use of original spare parts
(as for spare part orders, see section 8.4).
The descriptions and sketches provided in
this manual do not bind the manufacturer,
who reserves the right to update them and/or
include any upgrading modification of parts
and fittings as should be deemed necessary
for manufacturing or commercial purposes,
at any time and without previous notice.
3. INSTRUCTIONS, RESTRICTIONS
AND IMPROPER USE
When using any electric or electronic
appliance one must comply with certain
basic rules. In particular: do not touch the
machine with damp or wet hands or feet; do
not use it while barefoot. Do not expose the
appliance to the elements: rain, salt, salinity,
etc. Do not allow use by children or
handicapped without proper supervision. Do
not iron fabrics that are not heat-resistant,
with high temperatures. Do not iron layers of
laundry thicker than 8 mm or laundry that is
not suitable for this type of ironer, or wet
items with humidity exceeding the
recommended limit. Do not smoke near the
machine or while it is in use. Do not remove
or ignore safety devices. Do not leave
anything on the hot parts of the appliance,
not even after switching it off, because the
basin takes long to cool. Do not clean the
machine by using direct or indirect water
jets, therefore, install it far from areas in
which water jets are used.
ANY USE NOT SPECIFICALLY
MENTIONED HERE BELOW MUST BE
CONSIDERED AS HAZARDOUS. THE
MANUFACTURER DECLINES ALL
RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE
ARISING FROM IMPROPER, WRONG
OR UNREASONABLE USE.
DISCONNECT THE APPLIANCE
FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE
ATTEMPTING ANY MAINTENANCE.

4. HOW TO DISPATCH, UNPACK,
HANDLE AND STORE THE MACHINE
4.1. TRANSPORT
To transport and/or dispatch the appliance,
follow these suggestions carefully:
When carrying the appliance into a building,
use its pallet or a similar platform; use a
manual or electric fork lift that meets the
required hoisting capacity and is suitable for
handling such appliances (see technical data).
Check that the ironer can surmount any
existing obstacles or narrow passages (like
staircases, doors, etc.). Never drag the
manufacturer
appliance by a side or by any other part.
To ensure sufficient stability during
transportation, dispatch the machine in its
original packing material.

4.2. STORAGE
Should the appliance be stored for a long
period before being installed, keep it in its
original package, because it guarantees best
protection. Check that room conditions
correspond to those mentioned in section
5.3. If the ironer is laid up for a long period
after use, make sure that its plug is
disconnected from the power socket and
cover the appliance with its original, plastic
protection bag.
4.3. UNPACKING
1) Prior to accepting the ironer from the
carrier, check that the packing material does
not show any damage. If it does, the machine
too might have undergone the consequences.
If so, unpack the machine in the presence of
the carrier and sign the delivery note with
some reservation. The manufacturer assumes
no liability for any damage due to transport
or wrong storage.
2) Unpack the appliance with the utmost
care to avoid damage. Take the transport
pallet off by removing the screws from inside
the right and left side panels.
3) Make sure that the instruction booklet is
not left inside the package or lost.
The packing material (plastic bags, expanded
polystyrene, wood, cardboard, nails, etc.)
represents a safety hazard and consequently
must not be left within the reach of children.
Keep it all for further transport or in case the
appliance is laid up for a long period (see
section 4.2). Before connecting the appliance,
check that the data on the rating plate
correspond to those of the available power
supply mains. The ironer must be used only
for the aim it was purposely designed for.
5. INSTALLATION
5.1. POSITIONING REQUIREMENTS
Apart from a flat floor, these ironers give rise
to no particular positioning problem. Being
front-service type, they can be placed with
the back against a wall.
5.2. INSTALLATION, USE AND
MAINTENANCE (see fig. 1)
The appliance must be allowed the minimal
space shown in fig.1 where are shown:
1) automatic switching main switch (not
included)
2) sheathed power supply cable, type Icel
"Supertutor" FROR 450/750V 4x6 sq.mm
* The position of the automatic cutout
switch must enable easy actuation in any
EMERGENCY (maximum distance 3 m).
