FLEXA THEMA shower enclosures are class "1" appliances and must
be anchored securely and connected permanently to the electric net-
work and earth system without any intermediate junctions.
The electric network and earth system of the build-
ing must be in working order and must comply
with the provisions of the law and specific regula-
tions in force in that country.
An appropriate device must be provided, which
form part of the fixed system, and installed in com-
pliance with current legislation in force, with the pur-
pose of disconnecting the appliance from the mains.
If the building's electrical system is not able to
guarantee a stabile power supply, it is recom-
mended to install a voltage stabiliser that sui-
tably dimensioned for the required power u-
pstream of the equipment.
For connection to the electric mains, you will need to install an iso-
lating multi-pole switches, which will ensure complete disconnec-
tion in the instance of a category III over voltage; these devices must
be connected to an area that complies with the safety regulations
governing bathroom safety.
In accordance with regulations, the switch and oth-
er electrical devices must be located in an area that
cannot be reached by the person using the appliance.

The installation of electrical devices and appliances (sockets,
switches, etc.) in bathrooms must comply with the legal requirements
and standards of each country. In particular, no electrical installa-
tion is permitted within 60 cm of the shower enclosure or at a height
of less than 225 cm.
Connection to the electrical system of the building must be made
using a sheathed cable with specifications of not less than H 05 VV-
F 3x2.5 mm 2 .
The electric system of the building must be e-
quipped with a 0.03-A differential switch.
The FLEXA THEMA shower enclosures are equipped with a terminal,
fitted on the framework and marked with the symbol
quipotential connection of the surrounding metal masses, as es-
tablished by EN 60335-2-105 standards.

If installation is carried out by unqualified personnel and/or per-
sonnel unauthorized to carry out this type of installation.
If the norms and provisions of law, relating to electric systems of
buildings, in force in the country in which installation is carried out
are not complied with.
If the instructions for installation and maintenance contained in this
manual are not followed.
If unsuitable and/or uncertified materials are used for installation.
If the FLEXA THEMA shower enclosures are set up without con-
forming to the above-mentioned regulations.
If incorrect operations are carried out that reduce the degree of pro-
tection against water jets or change the protection against elec-
trocution by direct or indirect contact, or generate conditions of ab-
normal insulation, current leakage or overheating.
If any components or parts of the appliance are altered in relation
to their original state when supplied, causing the Manufacturer's
liability to become null and void.

parts are used other than the original ones supplied by Jacuzzi Eu-
rope S.p.A.
