IMPORTANT: The instruction manual you are holding includes essential information on the safety measures to be implemented for
installation and start-up. Therefore, the installer as well as the user must read the instructions before beginning installation and start-up.
Keep this manual for future reference.
To achieve optimum performance of the DMX Power Supply, follow the instructions provided below:
1. CHECK THE CONTENTS OF THE PACK:
Inside the box you will find:
• Fitters should be sufficiently qualified to perform this type of work.
• In the event that the feed cable is damaged, it should be replaced exclusively by the manufacturer, its technical service
or by a person with similar qualifications, in order to avoid risks.
• Avoid contact with electrical voltage.
• Current regulations regarding the prevention of accidents should be followed.
• In this respect, standards IEC 364-7-702: ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS IN BUILDINGS, SPECIAL INSTALLATIONS,
SWIMMING POOLS, should be followed.
• When performing maintenance operations or replacing parts, ensure that the DMX Feeder is disconnected from the
mains.
• Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be liable for the assembly, installation, start-up, manipulation or
incorporation of any electrical components that have not been done or manufactured on their premises.
2. GENERAL FEATURES:
The Power Supply is designed to be installed indoors, never outdoors.
This product is exclusively designed to be used with Mini LED Projectors by ASTRALPOOL. The manufacturer is not liable for possible damage
or defects if products other than ASTRALPOOL products are used.
If the Power Supply does not receive DMX signal (from products 41329 and 41330) the projectors will remain off.
This is an electrical apparatus corresponding to class II, fed at 230V; 50Hz
3. ASSEMBLY:
The ASTRAL DMX interface (41329) is connected to all DMX Feeders DMX (41106) of the installation by means of the DMX cable (41646) as
shown in Fig. 1. All DMX Power Supply are connected in series using a single communication bus. The last DMX Power Supply of the line
should be configured (see Termination of the DMX line) to indicate to the Astral DMX interface that this feeder is the last one of the
communications bus.
By means of a DMX Power Supply, you can control 3 channels, which will correspond to red, green and blue of the all the projectors connected
to this DMX Feeder. Each Power Supply should be allocated a base address, which will determine the 3 channels that it can control (see the
following section).
Assignment of DMX address
The modulator uses 3 DMX channels: red, green and blue, corresponding to the base, base +1 and base +2 addresses respectively.
