4. APPLICATIONS

• AC CURRENT MEASURING
WARNING:
MEASUREMENTS MAKE SURE THAT ALL
TEST LEADS ARE DISCONNECTED FROM
THE INPUT TERMINALS.
Follow these steps to measure AC
currents.
1. Set the function switch to 600 A.
2. Press the lever to open the clamp
jaws and clamp around a conductor.
Position the conductor within the
jaws at the intersection of the
centering marks as much as possible
to obtain the most accurate readings.
3. Read the display.
4. If the current reading is below 200
Amps, set the function switch to 200
A.
• AC VOLTAGE MEASURING

Follow this step to measure AC
voltages.
1. Insert the red test lead into the
VΩHz input terminal and the black
test lead into the COM terminal.
2. Set the function switch to 600 V.
3. Touch the test probes to the points
and read the display.
4. If the voltage reading is below 200
volts, set the function switch to 200 V.

• DATA HOLD FUNCTION

For all functions, the last reading can
be held in the display when the HOLD
button has been activated.
1. Make a measurement using any of
the Meter's functions.
2. Press and release the HOLD button
when the Meter is still connected to
the circuit.
3. The Meter will hold the last reading
in the display until the HOLD button
is pressed and released again or the
function switch is set to another
position.
