5 - If used, fi t the support fork and secure it using
the nuts.
6 - Insert the beam with the rubber buffer facing down
secure it using the bracket.
Information
After testing it, adjust the position of the beam to
block the access in the optimum manner.
3.3 ADJUSTING THE BALANCE OF THE
BEAM
The operator is always supplied with two helical springs
for balancing the beam.
One spring (the internal spring) is housed in the space
in the other spring (the external spring). It is not always
necessary to use both springs. For ideal balancing of
the beam in accordance with the length of the beam,
use the following table:

Information
The values indicated do not allow for any
accessories which might be used (swinging tip
support, swinging skirt, articulated beam) which
increase the weight of the beam.
To remove the springs, proceed as follows:
1 - Open the inspection port and release the hydraulic
unit, by turning the knob by 90° in an anti-clockwise
direction.
2 - Lift the beam by hand to release the springs.

Warning
In these conditions, the beam is not secured and
may fall.
3 - Block the hydraulic unit, by turning the knob by 90°
in a clockwise direction.
4 - Unscrew the nuts, extract the spring and fi t all
the other parts.
5 - Release the hydraulic unit, by turning the knob
by 90° in an anti-clockwise direction and lower
the beam by hand.

Warning
When the hydraulic unit is released, the beam loses
its stability. Ensure that it does not fall violently,
causing damage to persons or things.
