Battery replacement
A change of the charging cell is only necessary if it does not take the required charge
anymore. With proper care this is usually after around 2 to 3 years. If a replacement is
required, please contact your authorized dealer.
Service
The device does not require service.
General Warnings
Check the correct operation of the device before use! Do not use the device if there
are visible signs of damage.
Do not use the device in fire- or explosive risk area (e.g. oxygen saturated or
anaesthetic environments)
Do not modify the device.
Use only original HEINE parts, spare parts, accessories and power sources.
The device must not be placed near strong Magnetic fields, e.g. MRI units.
If the power source is transferred from a cold to a warm environment, let it rest
for approximately 1 h to allow it to equilibrate to the ambient conditions.
The device should never be used or stored outdoors, since this may lead to
malfunction.
General Notes
The warranty for the entire product is invalidated if non-genuine HEINE products or
non-original parts are used and if repairs or modifications are made to the device by
persons not authorized by HEINE. For more information, please visit www.heine.com.
Do not kink the cable and do not wrap it around the power supply since this reduces
the service life of the cable.
Disposal
The product must be recycled as separated electrical and electronic devices.
Please observe the relevant state-specific disposal regulations.
Dispose at your local collection point.
Electromagnetic Compatibility
Medical electrical devices are subject to special precautionary measures with regards to
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). They are to be installed and operated in accordance
with EMC guidelines contained in the accompanying documentation of the medical device.
