The ABIDOT programming tool serves for non-contact programming of work-
pieces via welding robots. The torch adaptors are used to adjust the desired
free wire end (stick-out). The operator moves the welding robot to the point to
be programmed and reduces the distance to the work-piece until the four laser
beams are focused on one point. This focal point represents the desired
working point. The robot control programs the point.
