How to Use
CONTROL BUTTONS FOR THE WORKBOWL
The control buttons are located on the front of the base. Press Low or High to
select a speed.
Off/Perfect Prep™ button
The appliance should be stored in Off position and unplugged when not in use.
The Perfect Prep™ function works like a pulse function and is perfect for short
and precise tasks. It lets you control the size and uniformity of the foods being
chopped.
• The Perfect Prep™ button must be pressed and held for the appliance
to operate. When released, the appliance will stop. Do not use the
Perfect Prep™ button longer than 2 minutes continuously.
• The motor runs as long as this button is held down. Press the button
down and then release; allow the blades to stop running and the food
to fall to the bottom of the workbowl before pressing again.
• This function gives better control when chopping, mincing, mixing and
blending foods. You can control the size of the foods from coarse to
fine.
High/Low Speed Control
• When either speed is selected, the processor will run continuously until
the Off button is pressed.
• These speeds are used for chopping, blending, dressings, sauces and
making batters.
IMPORTANT: Always press the OFF button before plugging in the appliance.
CUTTING BLADES
The workbowl comes with two blades (see callouts 7 and 8 on page 16):
• The "S" blade can be used for chopping vegetables and fruits, mincing
cooked meats, grinding coffee beans and nuts and making cookie and bread
crumbs.
