Start up

 Check that the system is in a correct
condition, see section "Care and main-
tenance/maintenance intervals".
 Ensure that the spray nozzles matching
the overall system are selected and in-
stalled, see section "Technical data/
Spray nozzle selection". Incorrectly se-
lected nozzles present a danger of
overpressure.
Installing the protective bar
 Install the protective bar (accessory) as
shown in the illustration.
Installing the fall protection eye
 Install the fall protection eye (accesso-
ry) as shown in the illustration.
Installing the interior cleaner
 Screw cleaning head to the hose or the
frame (frames: see accessories).
Cover with frame
Adjusting the height of the cover:
 Release fastening toggle.
 Slide the cover on the pipe.
 Tighten the fastening toggle.

Swivel frame
Adjusting the height of the cover:
 Loosen the fastening toggle for height
adjustment.
 Slide the cover on the pipe.
 Tighten the fastening toggle.
Tilt the interior cleaner:
 Loosen the fastening toggle for tilting.
 Set the inclination (±15°) of the interior
cleaner.
 Tighten the fastening toggle.

Operation

DANGER
Risk of injury on account of the escaping
water jet that could be hot!
– Only use the interior cleaner in closed
containers.
– Only insert the interior cleaner into a
container or switch it into another con-
tainer while the separate high pressure
pump is turned off.
 Place interior cleaner onto container
and lock it.
 Connect the high pressure pump to the
interior cleaner via a high pressure
hose.
 Open the cleaning liquid supply.
 Switch on the separate high pressure
pump.
Unusual operating noises
 In the case of unusual operating noises,
consult the section "Help in case of mal-
functions/troubleshooting".
Replacing the spray nozzles
Note: Always install the spray nozzles in
pairs in opposing locations (either 2 noz-
zles or 2+2 nozzles).
 Secure the threads of the spray nozzles
with suitable sealant (e.g. soluble
thread locker) to prevent them from
loosening unintentionally.
Frost protection
ATTENTION
Risk of damage! Frost will destroy the ap-
pliance if the water has not been complete-
ly drained.
 Store the interior cleaner in a frost-pro-
tected place.
 If frost-free storage is not possible:
Completely drain the cleaning fluid and
blow out the interior cleaner with com-
pressed air.

Shutting down

Note: Flush the interior cleaner for 30 sec-
onds without adding detergents prior to
shutting it down. This will avoid crusting
and adhesion and thus premature wear of
the seals.
 Switch off the separate high pressure
pump.
 Shut off the cleaning liquid supply.
 Remove the interior cleaner from the
container.

Storage

CAUTION

Transport

CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
 When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.

Care and maintenance

The basis for a safe operational plant is
regular maintenance.
Use only original parts of the manufacturer
or part suggested by him, such as
– replacement and wear parts
– Accessory parts
– Fuel
– Detergent
DANGER
Risk of accident while working on the unit!
During all tasks:
 Remove voltage from and secure high
pressure pump at the main switch.
 Shut off the cleaning liquid supply.
Who may perform maintenance?
 Operator
Work designated with the sign "Opera-
tor" may only be carried out by persons
who have been instructed in the safe
operation and maintenance on the high
pressure plant.
 Customer Service
Work designated with the sign "Cus-
tomer Service" may only be done by the
fitters of Kärcher Customer Service.
Maintenance contract
In order to guarantee a reliable operation of
the equipment, we success, you signed a
maintenance agreement. Please refer to
your local Kärcher service department.
