Proper use
14
- The ICH 80/16 Ps interior cleaners are
15
spray systems for cleaning barrels and
16
containers.
16
- Steam (water steam) may not be
16
passed through the interior cleaner.
The maximum cleaning fluid tempera-
ture is 90 °C.
- The interior cleaner is not approved for
underground mining operations.
- The cleaning head is inserted into the
container through an opening with a
suitable minimum inner diameter.
Cleaning head
ICH 80/16 Ps
- A separate high pressure pump is con-
nected to the interior cleaner via a high
pressure hose.
Cleaning fluid quality requirements:
ATTENTION
The cleaning fluid must not contain any
abrasive solid particles (similar quality to
city fresh water). Contamination leads to
premature wear and tear or deposits in the
device and accessories.
Note: The chapter "Specifications" con-
tains a list of the permitted cleaning liquids.
Operation outside of closed containers, op-
eration at higher pressures, higher flow
rates and higher temperatures than those
specified in the technical data is regarded
as improper use.
Please do not allow cleaning liquids to en-
ter the environment. Protect the ground
and dispose of used oil in an environmen-
tally-clean manner.
Please do not let mineral oil contaminated
waste water reach soil, water or the sew-
age system.
EN
- The nozzles on the cleaning head turn
around two axles and therefore touch
every place in the container.
- The cleaning head has an internal drive
driven by the flow of cleaning fluid pass-
ing through the head. The rotary speed
depends on the pressure and volume of
cleaning fluid.
- Please follow the national rules and
regulations of the respective country.
- Please follow the safety instructions
which are attached to the used deter-
gents (normally on the packing label).
- In order to avoid improper operation,
the system may only be used by per-
sons who have been instructed in han-
dling the system or have proven qualifi-
cation and expertise in operating the
system or have been explicitly assigned
the task of handling the system.
- The operating instructions must be ac-
cessible for every user.
Wrong operation or misuse are hazardous
to the operator and other persons on ac-
count of:
Minimum con-
- high pressure
tainer opening
- Cleaning agents or used cleaning liquid
150 mm
- hot system parts, if hot cleaning liquids
are used
- Danger of explosion
DANGER
- Danger of injury by high pressure jet -
therefore only use interior cleaner in-
side closed containers.
- Health hazards posed by residue in
containers that are cleaned or by the
cleaning liquid used. Therefore, the list-
ed protective measures must be ad-
hered to.
- Risk of injury due to interior cleaner top-
pling over at low submerge depth. In
this case, the interior cleaner must be
supported.
- Risk of injury by toppling container -
therefore use extra support for contain-
er and interior cleaner.
- Risk of burns by hot hoses and hot rack
when using hot cleaning liquids. When
operating with hot cleaning liquids, do
not touch the rack and supply lines and
wear protective clothing.
