Cleaning and changing the chuck
1. Remove the tool:
Open the chuck by turning the handpiece
grip sleeve and simultanously retaining the
motor grip sleeve until it clicks.
Remove the tool.
Never open the handpiece during operation.
2. Remove motor end cap:
Screw off the motor end cap. Hold the
motor grip sleeve. Screw off the motor
end cap and pull off the plug carefully.
3. Untighten the chuck:
Hold the shaft with the socket and screw off
the chuck with the chuck key.
4. Remove the chuck:
Remove the chuck out of the shaft, check, clean
or change the chuck. Defective or polluted
chucks reduce the tension and the concentricity.
5. Clean the shaft:
Clean the shaft with a brush.
6. Clean the chuck:
Clean the chuck with a brush.
