Working instructions.
Secure the power tool with the safety strap supplied at all times, especially for
WARNING
work carried out at elevated heights, when drilling horizontally or above the head.
If there is a power loss, or the power plug is pulled out, the magnetic holding power is not
maintained.
To turn the magnet ON (Figure 6).
Please make sure that the contact surface
for the magnetic base is level, clean and
rust-free. Remove any varnish or primer.
When working, always use the magnetic
base; ensure that the magnetic holding
power is sufficient.
When working on materials that are non-fer-
rous, suitable fixation devices obtainable as
accessories from the manufacturer, e. g. suc-
tion plates, vacuum plates or pipe-drilling
devices must be used.
When working on steel materials with a
material thickness of less than 12 mm /
the workpiece must be reinforced with an
additional steel plate in order to guarantee the
magnetic holding power.
The magnetic base is monitored by means of
a power sensor. If the magnetic base is defec-
tive, the motor will not start.
Press the magnet power switch to
engage the magnet.
Adjusting the stroke range (Figure 7).
For quick and easy tool changing, the stroke
range can be variably adjusted.
Hold the drill motor firmly
CAUTION
with one hand when releasing
the stroke adjustment lever.
Release stroke adjustment lever with
the other hand.
Adjust to the appropriate stroke
range.
Tighten stroke adjustment lever again.
