When storing unit f or e xtended
periods of
time, remove all f uel from tank and carburetor
(run dry). Refer toEngine Manual.
Clean and charge the battery. Charge battery
every three t ofour w eeks when s toring unit.
Fuel S ystem
Gasoline
left i nthe fuel s ystem f orextended
periods without astabilizer
will d eteriorate,
resulting
ingum deposits
inthe system.
These deposits
can damage the carburetor
and the fuel hoses, filter and tank. Prevent
deposits
from forming inthe fuel system
during storage by adding aquality fuel
stabilizer
tothe fuel. Follow t he
recommended
mix ratio found onthe fuel
stabilizer
container.
To treat the fuel s ystem f orstorage:
1.Add fuel s tabilizer
according
to
manufacturers'
instructions.
2.Run engine foratleast 10minutes after
adding stabilizer
toallow ittoreach t he
ca rbu r etor.
NEVER store t he engine with fuel i nthe fuel
tank inside ofabuilding with potential
sources ofignition.

1.Refer tothe engine service manual to
prepare the engine forservice.
2.Put f resh, clean f uel i nthe fuel t ank.
3.Begin t he maintenance
schedule.
4.Charge and install the battery.
