The couplers do not stay connected

Possible cause
The external ring jams during connecting.
The locking mechanism in the female coupler
does not work.
The female coupler is faulty.

The tool is not operating or no longer operating satisfactorily

Possible cause
One or more couplers are not connected properly. Disconnect and reconnect the coupler(s).
The pressure relief valve on the pump is open
(CORE™ system).
There is no oil left in the pump.
There is air in the system.
The pump does not build up any pressure.

The tool leaks oil from the safety valve

Possible cause
The tool load is too high (disconnected).

The deadman's handle is jammed or doesn't return automatically to the
neutral position

Possible cause
The deadman's handle is damaged
externally.
The deadman's handle is faulty.

The light is weak or gives no light at all

Possible cause
The battery is (almost) empty.

Solution
Hold the hose at the bending restriction during
connecting.
•
Clean the female coupler with clean running
water.
•
Dry it and treat the inside of the external ring
with preservative oil.
•
Place and remove the dust cap repeatedly
until the external ring springs back.
Have it repaired by a Holmatro Certified
Technician.
Solution
Close the pressure relief valve by using a
screwdriver to turn it anti-clockwise as far as the
stop.
Check oil content of tool and pump.
•
If compatible: add hydraulic oil.
•
If not compatible: change combination tool and
pump.
CORE™ system:
•
Disconnect the hose from the tool.
•
Let the pump run idle for one minute.
•
Connect the tool.
•
Open and close (entirely) the tool once.
